The government cannot give anything to anyone without first taking it from someone else.
That’s it. That’s the tweet.

And the great news is in 8 years you will have to either get a new one or get replacement batteries about almost as high a cost…..if even are available because we are forcing adoption of EV & in no way have capacity or materials.

An underrated aspect of the Biden admin unpopularity is just how terribly his cabinet has performed at messaging – Becerra, Mayorkas, Granholm, Buttigieg, Garland, Yellen all drags. When your best performer is Tony Blinken you have a problem. https://t.co/i0Du46TXPQ
— Ben Domenech (@bdomenech) August 21, 2022
If you were a manufacturer in the business of selling poop for human consumption what would your messaging be? People have a natural aversion to what the Biden administration is manufacturing and trying to sell. It’s crap and no amount of messaging is going to change that.

The Green New Shame…
As the climate crisis has worsened, experts have put forth numerous solutions to curb greenhouse gas emissions and stop rising temperatures. Could shaming be one of them? https://t.co/T8gOBKXiBF

Sidenote: I’m so relieved to see our druid media betters moving deeper & deeper into those effective ‘dark ages’ practices. You overlords get to determine guilt/then carry out those medieval punishments for the rest of us serfs. Can’t wait to see what comes after public ‘shame’.
— Maggie (@drillanwr) August 21, 2022
We no longer “shame” for obesity, in fact we insist on “body positive”
We no longer “shame” for out-of-wedlock children, and fatherless homes
We don’t “shame” for commission of too many crimesIt’s pretty absurd to think we’d “shame” for “greenhouse gas emissions”

Our swampy political betters have diagnosed the rest of us:
Joe Cunningham: James Carville Says You Are ‘Stupid’ and ‘Evil’ and the Media Is Too Nice to You
Timothy H.J. Nerozzi: Liz Cheney rips into Republican voters, leadership as ‘very sick’ after landslide primary loss: Rep. Liz Cheney lost her primary election Tuesday and will be leaving office at the end of her term … Because when you find yourself sounding like James Carville’s parrot.
Kevin Haggerty: Liz Cheney gets it half right when she says her loss shows GOP voters are ‘very sick’
Ron Blitzer: Cheney says she spoke with Biden after primary loss: ‘We had a very good talk’: Cheney said she heard from several people after her loss, including fellow Republicans … Yeah, the actually sick incestuous establishment “half” she was “half right” about.
Kevin Tober: Move over Abe! ABC’s Karl Compares Liz Cheney to Teddy Roosevelt … Liz needs reminding that they are now the leftist MSM’s new “Maverick” that they will hoist up as reasonable and push for her to enter the 2024 POTUS election cycle in hopes she’ll get the GOP/RNC nod … and then the same MSM will turn and call her a bump off her evil warmongering, big oil operative, face-shooting father.
Lawrence Richard: Donald Trump says Mitch McConnell should do more to help Republicans get elected: ‘Broken down political hack’: McConnell previously expressed doubt that Republicans would retake the Senate majority … McConnell (and other establishment GOPers) remind me of Cleveland Browns football players in that they feel overly secure to be in the big league, like the position and pay/benefits, look/sound promising for the ‘season’ when drafted/hired, and then just sit back and let the other teams roll all over them on the playing field.
This branch of the GOP reminds me of bitter women at a table, drinking tea and slandering the women not present. https://t.co/dp2HYPhkJj

Never view or deem what is happening right now under this administration and the demo-commies in power in the US Congress and with their MSM arm of the party as “failure(s)”. David Solway: The Great Reset: Testing, Testing…
It is disturbing to note that the greater portion of the public do not seem to be aware of the vast ideological movement for social transformation called the Great Reset. Those who are at least partially informed consider it merely another conspiracy theory. Some among the so-called elite—the media, the academy, the political stratum—consider the Great Reset as a rational and benevolent response to the specter of overpopulation and the threat of populist uprisings. Others among the patrician class, doubtless a majority, are engaged in promoting what they know to be a concerted attempt to destabilize and supplant the long-established order of ideally democratic governance that has slowly and incrementally characterized the liberal societies of the West, dating from the Magna Carta (1215) and the Peace of Westphalia (1648) to the approximate present.
We should make no mistake about this. The revolutionary project, whether denominated as the New World Order, the U.N.’s Agenda 2030, or the Davos-centered Great Reset—different terms for essentially the same impetus—under the influential leadership of Klaus Schwab is apocalyptic in its aims. It envisages a world in which the middle-class will have been expunged, the global census markedly winnowed, and a China-like social credit system introduced in which citizens will be under constant digital surveillance determining what they are allowed to possess, rent, use or spend…
You will own nothing and be happy. You will eat nothing and be satisfied…
John Zmirak: Watch This Movie With Your Teens: “Mr. Jones” is the kind of story young people in their formative years need to see.
“Mr. Jones” is a movie I bought, and put off watching. I knew it would besobering, and I’d already heard the story: The Soviet government under Stalin pillaged Ukraine, stealing the private farms of productive peasants and forcing them into miserable, termite colony-modeled collective farms. Then the Party seized all the grain they’d raised in that immensely productive region, and sold it to fund Stalin’s project of building massive factories.
Stalin knew that Russia was ill-suited for Marxism (as Marx himself had scoffed). The proletarian revolution was supposed to happen in an industrialized society, not an agrarian one. This according to the simplistic, paint-by-numbers scheme which Marx used to analyze the whole history of the human race, and also predict its future.
So instead of adapting his theory of governance to suit the hundred million concrete human beings he ruled, Stalin decided to carve them up to match his theory. He would shock-industrialize a country so large it has 11 separate time zones, and force it to become a military power. So Stalin ordered the Party to seize all the food that was grown in Ukraine, and sell it to buy machinery. He caused an intentional famine, which killed between six and 12 million people.
And the New York Times reporter who was assigned to Ukraine, Walter Duranty, lied about it…

In discussions of reducing car dependency, one often hears, “What about people in remote rural areas?” And my gut instinct is — people shouldn’t be living there in the first place. The solution is to give them generous grants to relocate among other humans.
— Adam Kotsko (@adamkotsko) August 21, 2022
“But what if they like living in remote rural areas?” Sorry, you can’t always get what you want. A lot of people would like to live in dense, transit-rich settings but can’t — either because they can’t afford it or it simply doesn’t exist where they are.
— Adam Kotsko (@adamkotsko) August 21, 2022
And if this sounds harsh — don’t worry, it will never happen, because our governmental institutions are INSANELY biased in favor of rural areas. They’ll be fine. I’m just a guy over here having an opinion.
— Adam Kotsko (@adamkotsko) August 21, 2022
