Videos
Here are videos, for easy listening:
Loved this since I was in high school!
Obviously this is a classic, nothing more needs to be said.
AFK mean “Away From Keyboard” and it’s a great song.
The entire album “No Pocky for Kitty” is awesome, not one filler song.
Veruca Salt, one of the best female rock bands ever.
This is by far one of my favorite music videos of all time. EVER.
The Pixies are a classic California skate band, you can’t go wrong here.
Built to Spill, classic 90’s indy rock!
Everyone knows Modest Mouse.
A neat music video, for a short song.
Pavement, Crooked Rain was an all around amazing album.
Arcade Fire, a 12 piece band. Music speaks for itself. I first discovered them from a Mark Gonzalez skate video, I believe…
If you were alive in the 90’s, you know this dance track.
I am sure everyone remembers this song, although her sound has gotten more refined as she’s gotten older.
Weezer is another classic, no more needs to be said.
Talking Heads, so many good songs, so many hits.
Rest in Peace, Ian Curtis.
Loved this album, Blue Screen Life.
Yo La Tengo, so so underrated!
Kim is fantastic.
You knew there had to be some ska up in here!
You knew I had to close it with Alien Ant Farms “Smooth Criminal” Michael Jackson cover!
Please comment below, let me know what you’d like to see next time!Â
Some oldies but goodies along with some I’ve never heard before, thanks Radix!
BTW, my liberal daughter just walked into my room asking why I was listening to The Pixies…She’s maybe their biggest fan and has gone to many of their concerts! Lol!
Great list! I love the Pixies(Frank Black)/Talking Heads/Weezer/Pinback! It’s like you are spying on my playlist. Lol. Fun post for sure!
Sister from another Mister lol! Love it! We have a full music studio with all the instruments and microphones to do Karaoke but like a band and can record. It’s so much fun! Love your taste in music 🙂
