The Wave of the Future-Precrime

The Wave of the Future-Precrime

With recent comments by President Trump and other pundits for and against Red Flag Laws it seems Christopher Wray’s FBI and law enforcement in Red Flag States are ramping up their efforts to stop crimes before they happen.

It’s reminiscent of the movie “The Minority Report”  where, in a future society, three mutants foresee all crime before it occurs.

In the three states in which these potential mass murderers were arrested two are Red Flag States.

In 1999, Connecticut was the first to enact a Red Flag law after the 1998 Rampage Connecticut Lottery Shooting.

In 2018, Florida passed Red Flag laws after the mass shooting at the Stoneman-Douglas High School in Parkland.

After the Dayton mass shooting on August 4, 2019, Ohio’s Republican Governor, Mike DeWine has now called for Ohio’s legislature to pass a Red Flag law.

Red flag laws — also known as Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs) or Gun Violence Restraining Orders (GVROs) — enable law enforcement, and sometimes family members and other concerned parties, to petition a judge to remove guns from individuals who pose a threat to themselves or others.

Thomas Matthew McVicker

Today we have news that a trucker, Thomas Matthew McVicker, 38 who was arrested in Indianapolis, Indiana on Friday August 15, 2019 by the Indiana State Police troopers and FBI agents after they had received a tip from a friend in Alabama. He is being charged with communicating threats to kidnap or injure another person.

McVicker told the friend that he has been in a mental hospital and takes medication.

He allegedly threatened to “shoot up” an unspecified church and slit the pastor’s throat with a knife in Memphis and then kill himself.

McVicker, of Punta Gorda, Florida, has been living in his truck, according to his friend.

His mother told the FBI that McVicker owned a Ruger P90 handgun and sometimes uses cocaine and methamphetamine. She also said her son sometimes “hears voices” and “claims to be possessed by demons” and is being treated for schizophrenia. McVicker’s family said he was haunted by “spiritual snakes and spiders” he claims people put in his bed.

In a affidavit, his Alabama friend stated McVicker told him “evil entities entered his body and are torturing him”. His friend later contacted the FBI in Tampa again because McVicker was acting erratically and said he planned to target a church in Memphis. CBS4Indy

A series of disturbing text messages between McVicker and his friend reads as follows:

“I’m thinking about shooting a church up but I’m afraid how it will affect my family in the flesh when I’m gone,” he wrote. “So I think I’m just gonna kill some people on the street and get away with it then kill myself.”

When urged to get some help, McVicker replied, “I’m telling you there won’t be a glorious turnaround for me, I’m going to be gone soon forever.”

McVicker made “credible threats to conduct a mass shooting and suicide” planned for this coming Thursday, an FBI special agent said in a sworn affidavit.

It is unknown if McVicker is in jail or a mental health facility at this time.

McVicker reportably has a history of mental illness which he was being treated for with prescription drugs and was also using cocaine and methamphetamine.

Law enforcement authorities in Connecticut, Ohio and Florida arrested 3 young men in their 20s of allegedly plotting to commit mass shootings in their respective states last week.

Norwalk man tells police he had no intention to commit mass shooting after tip to FBI

Brandon Wagshol

Brandon Wagshol, 22, faces charges of possession of large capacity magazines, stemming from a joint FBI and Norwalk, Connecticut police investigation which began with a tip to the FBI National Threat Operations Center.

“With our local partners we gather, share and act upon threat information as it comes to our attention. As in this case, a tip from a vigilant citizen helped the FBI and the Norwalk Police Department disrupt a potentially dangerous situation. We continue to urge the public to please remain alert and to report to law enforcement any suspicious activity that is observed either in person or online,” said Special Agent in Charge Brian Turner, who heads the FBI’s New Haven Field Division.

According to Norwalk police Lt. Terry Blake, Wagshol had posted on Facebook that he “was into planning a mass murder.”  Law enforcement officers seized a .40-caliber handgun, a .22-caliber rifle, a rifle scope with laser, firearm optics and flashlights, hundreds of rounds of ammunition. They also found body armor with a titanium plate and tactical attire from Wagshol’s home. Although the firearms were registered to Wagshol’s father, he had access to them.

Currently a student at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), Wagshol told police upon his arrest that he “did not have the intention of committing any mass shootings at all whatsoever.” He has been banned from the CCSU campus by the college, President Zulma R.Toro announced on Friday morning, August 15th. Apparently CCSU has their own ‘Threat Assessment Team.’

Wagshol did admit to driving 3 hours to New Hampshire to buy 30-round magazines and 300 rounds of ammunition to circumvent what he saw as an “unconstitutional restriction” on the Second Amendment right to bear arms.”

Wagshol’s attorney Darnell Crosland stated that he was given a police report which included references to incidents 11 years ago beginning in 2008. There were no recent incidents included in the police report. “The report just talked about arguments at home, arguments at school, things that kids get into,” Crosland said. “Police were called for instances at home, but not at school.”

Crosland also said the police report did not include any of Wagshol’s Facebook posts in question.

“What I understand is that he didn’t make any comments on Facebook, but there might have been other memes, as they call it, that he might have re-posted, but he didn’t make a statement on Facebook as related to any mass shooting.”

Warshol is currently being held in jail on a $250,000 bond on four counts of illegal possession of large capacity magazines.

There have been no reports found regarding Warshol’s mental health history or if he was on any illegal drugs or prescribed medications at this time.

a man smiling for the camera: Ohio man James Reardon, 20, was arrested telecommunications harassment and aggravated menacing charges

James Reardon, Jr

On August 16, 2019 James Reardon, Jr., 20 of New Middletown, Ohio was arrested at his parents home for making on Instagram what they believe was a threat to a Jewish center. He was wearing a jacket with IRA patches on it at the time of his arrest according to the police chief.

The FBI Violent Crimes Task Force raided Reardon’s home on August 15, 2019 where they seized dozens of rounds of ammo, several semi-automatic weapons, a gas mask and bulletproof armor along with anti-Semitic and white nationalist propaganda. Reardon also took part in the protests in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017.

Police Chief Vincent D’Egidio said “Reardon posted a video on July 11 on Instagram which tagged the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, of a man shooting a semi-automatic rifle with sirens and screams in the background. The caption post read, “Police identified the Youngstown Jewish Family Community shooter as local white nationalist Seamus O’Rearedon.”

Neighbors say that Reardon was always very open about his politics according to Fox8 Cleveland,

“ He would get in screaming matches with his grandfather about politics,” said Tim McCoy , who knew Reardon for years. He said he is not surprised by the arrest. “I basically hoped it wouldn’t happen but I knew down the line if it continued down the road there was going to be an issue with the police.”

Reardon has also appeared in a documentary in which he stated that his parents did not agree with his beliefs and desires for a “White Homeland”.

“Reardon’s Instagram included racial slurs directed against minorities. For example, on March 3 he posted a video of himself firing a BB gun at a DVD case of the show “Veggie Tales.” Reardon is heard saying, “F*cking Jewish media” before firing at the case. The caption includes an ethnic slur against Jewish people.” Heavy

Reardon is currently being held in jail on a $250,000 bond for telecommunications harassment and aggravated menacing.

There have been no reports found regarding Reardon’s mental health history or if he was on any illegal drugs or prescribed medications at this time.

Tristan Scott Wix, 25 of Daytona Beach, Florida was arrested at a Winn Dixie grocery store parking lot on Friday, August 15, 2019 by the Volusia County Sheriff’s office for allegedly threatening to commit a mass shooting.

A .22-caliber hunting rifle and 400 rounds of ammo were found in a search of Wix’s apartment.

Wix’s ex-girlfriend alerted authorities after he sent her disturbing texts.

In the messages Wix said he wanted to open fire on a large crowd of people, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. “A good 100 kills would be nice,” one message allegedly read. Wix also said he already had a location in mind, according to the sheriff’s office.

“A school is a weak target … I’d be more likely to open fire on a large crowd of people from over 3 miles away … I’d wanna break a world record for longest confirmed kill ever,” and that he wanted to die and “have fun doing it,” authorities said.

Wix is being held in jail without bond for threatening to commit mass murder.

There have been no reports found regarding Wix’s mental health history or if he was using any illegal drugs or prescribed medications at this time.

Before we get all excited about these arrests, let’s not forget that our premier law enforcement agency, while doing a great job capturing future criminals, have also been complicit in creating future criminals in the past.

At this time we do not know if the 3 young men from Connecticut, Ohio and Florida have a history of mental illness but one of them is definitely a self proclaimed “White Nationalist.” Whether or not that qualifies as a mental illness is unknown.

The FBI’s past use of known criminals to entice people with a history of mental illness to build bombs and commit mass murder by providing them with the means to do so, is certainly one way to predict future crimes. Case in point is Jerry Drake Varnell.

“08/17/17 – (TFTP) It’s become a near-weekly occurrence. Somewhere in some state, the FBI will announce that they’ve foiled yet another terrorist plot and saved lives. However, as the data shows, the majority of these cases involve psychologically diminished patsies who’ve been entirely groomed, armed, and entrapped by FBI agents. Simply put, the FBI manufactures terror threats and then takes credit for stopping them.” The Last American Vagabond

On August 14, 2017 Jerry Drake Varnell, 23 of Sayre, Oklahoma was arrested for attempting to blow up a bank in Oklahoma City as part of a FBI sting operation.

According to federal documents, Varnell drove what he believed was a stolen van containing a 1,000-pound ammonium nitrate bomb on Saturday morning to blow up an Oklahoma City bank.

The family’s statement said their son “has suffered through countless serious full-blown schizophrenic delusional episodes and he has been put in numerous mental hospitals since he was 16 years old.” The statement further added that his parents are his legal guardians and do all they can “to keep him safe and functional.”“The mental health system has consistently failed us due to the lack of establishments and health care coverage for a person like him,” the statement said. Varnell takes medication “but he will never be completely functional in life,” it said.

“The Varnells say their son is easily influenced and they believe a confidential informant who tipped FBI agents off to the alleged plot may have helped inspire it.” CBS News

Varnell allegedly claimed to embrace the “Three Percenter” ideology, referring to a ‘far-right anti-government group’ that has rallied against gun control efforts and pledges resistance to the federal government over the infringement of constitutional rights.

In a series of text messages exchanged with the FBI’s informant, Varnell “claimed to have a bunker for when the world collapsed”,  “I’m out for blood,” and, “When militias start getting formed I’m going after government officials when I have a team.”

Varnell’s parents questions the tactics undercover FBI agents used to arrest a 23-year-old schizophrenic.

“Underneath his condition, he is a sweet-hearted person and we are extremely shocked that this event has happened. However, what truly has us flabbergasted is the fact that the FBI knew he was schizophrenic. The State of Oklahoma found him mentally incompetent and we, his parents have legal guardianship over him by the Court. These documents are sealed from the public, which is why no news media outlet has been able to obtain them. The FBI clearly knew that he was schizophrenic because they have gathered every ounce of information on him.”

“What the public should be looking at is the fact that the FBI gave our son the means to make this happen. He has no job, no money, no vehicle, and no driver’s license, due to the fact that he is schizophrenic and we his parents do everything we can possible to keep him safe and functional….. He has suffered through countless serious full-blown schizophrenic delusional episodes and he has been put in numerous mental hospitals since he was 16 years old. The FBI came and picked him up from our home, they gave him a vehicle, gave him a fake bomb, and every means to make this happen none of which he had access to on his own.”

It seems the practice of creating a terrorist or crime began after the September 11, 2001 attacks on the NYC World Trade buildings and the Pentagon. In many cases this type of sting operation very well may have prevented even more terrorist attacks from Jihad-obsessed radical Muslims.

“In some cases the FBI may have created terrorists out of law-abiding individuals by suggesting the idea of taking terrorist action or encouraging the target to act. Multiple studies have found that nearly 50 percent of the federal counter-terrorism convictions since September 11, 2001, resulted from informant-based cases. Almost 30 percent were sting operations in which the informant played an active role in the underlying plot.”

“The FBI often targeted particularly vulnerable people, including those with intellectual and mental disabilities and the indigent. The government, often acting through informants, then actively developed the plot, persuading and sometimes pressuring the targets to participate, and provided the resources to carry it out.” HumanRightsWatch.org

But, according to Natural News,

“At a time when the FBI’s reputation is at one of the lowest points in history thanks to the involvement of former ranking members in ‘Spygate,’ the plot to overthrow President Donald Trump, the bureau is shopping for technology that allows it to monitor social media in real time, allegedly to spot potential criminal activity.”

“The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for the purpose of acquiring subscription services to a social media early-alerting tool in order to mitigate multifaceted threats, while ensuring all privacy and civil liberties compliance requirements are met,” said a FedBizOpps listing, titled “Social Media Alerting Subscription” on behalf of the Department of Justice.

“Offers shall include qualifications, details and pricing for subscription services” technology that will allow agents to snoop on social media sites effortlessly and as posts occur.

Think of this as the FBI’s version of the National Security Agency’s massive snooping technologies outed by former contractor Edward Snowden. Only, the Bureau’s technology will be specifically used for domestic spying since the FBI is, first and foremost, a domestic federal law enforcement agency.”

“With increased use of social media platforms by subjects of current FBI investigations and individuals that pose a threat to the United States, it is critical to obtain a service which will allow the FBI to identify relevant information from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other Social media platforms in a timely fashion,” the agency said in the RFP. “Consequently, the FBI needs near real-time access to a full range of social media exchanges in order to obtain the most current information available in furtherance of its law enforcement and intelligence missions.”

What does this mean for us? If the FBI can snoop into our social media and memes can get you arrested for “terrorist threats?” Does that mean we will soon be living in a police state?

Can the FBI be trusted to “police” social media? What about our First Amendment rights? Will they fall by the wayside in an attempt by the FBI to keep us safe? If so, what will come next? The powers that be are already trying to take away our Second Amendment rights as we speak.

Are any of our rights as Americans safe?

Have you heard of the National Threat Assessment Center or NTAC?

If you aren’t aware of it you should be, as the United States Secret Service oversees the NTAC and plays into precrime.

NTAC Mission and Vision

The mission of the National Threat Assessment Center (NTAC) is to provide guidance on threat assessment and training, both within the Secret Service and to its law enforcement, public safety, and academic partners. Through the Presidential Threat Protection Act of 2000, Congress formally authorized NTAC to provide assistance in the following areas:

  • Research threat assessment and various types of targeted violence.
  • Provide training on threat assessment and targeted violence to law enforcement officials, school personnel, and others with protective and public safety responsibilities.
  • Consult on complex threat assessment cases or programs.
  • Promote the standardization of federal, state, and local threat assessment and investigations.
  • Facilitate information-sharing among agencies with protective and/or public safety responsibilities.

NTAC will lead the development of evidence-based threat assessment techniques to prevent rare, non-random violent acts that impact both local and international communities. Conducting a unique blend of cutting-edge behavior-based research, practical training, and operational guidance, NTAC will serve as the leading resource on ways to assess threats and identify indicators of targeted violence.

The Strategic Information and Operations Center (SIOC) is the FBI’s global command and communications center.

SIOC maintains a constant state of readiness, ensuring a secure venue to support crisis management, special event monitoring, and other significant operational initiatives. As a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), SIOC also offers an appropriately secure place for conducting classified briefings, conferences, and seminars.

With 40,000 square feet of space at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., SIOC consists of six crisis action team rooms, five large-scale operations areas, executive briefing areas, and conference rooms. SIOC promotes flexibility, and has the ability to configure its space to:

  • Simultaneously support multiple independent operations of varying size, configurations, and requirements for different security levels;
  • Accommodate representatives from other agencies, as well as organizations called upon to participate during special events or crisis operations;
  • Supply computers, printers, fax machines, shredders, secure telephones, satellite telephones, and high frequency and satellite radios with connections via public and U.S. government communication lines;
  • Offer an interactive audio-visual system throughout the facility that includes video teleconferencing systems;
  • Provide information management capabilities including electronic libraries of information accessible through a user-friendly FBI-wide Intranet, as well as local-area and wide-area network connections at the unclassified, secret, and top secret security levels; and
  • Sustain an uninterrupted power supply and back-up generators.

SIOC’s services go beyond the boundaries of its physical space. Its technological capabilities bring critical information from missions directly to desktops and conference rooms throughout FBI Headquarters and across the Bureau. Such information includes operational updates, the latest news wire services, maps, program information, case files, and intelligence reports.

The Bureau also maintains divisional centers within the Counterterrorism and Cyber Divisions. The SIOC Watch, the FBI’s sole watch center, has responsibility for the daily intake and dissemination of information for all programs, foreign and domestic, as well as administrative issues. It also works closely with Counterterrorism and Cyber divisional units to ensure that the full spectrum of strategic information and emerging events is handled in a seamless and efficient manner. This also ensures the proper flow of information to FBI Headquarters, field divisions, legal attachés, and other government agency operations centers within the intelligence community.

This is the infrastructure that was put into place after 9/11 for mass surveillance and the powers that be seem content to turn this country into a technocratic authoritarian regime like China.
We must never let the call for ‘safety’ override our freedom and liberties or we deserve neither.
