Boeing CEO Abruptly Steps Down

Indianapolis, Ind. Dec 23, 2019 – The best selling plane company Boeing announced today that CEO Dennis Muilenburg has resigned effectively immediately and Chairman David Calhoun will be the company’s new CEO in January 2020. While Chairman Calhoun will be replacing Muilenburg, Lawrence Kellner will be tapped to replace Calhoun as the company’s chairman.

These changes at the top of management comes as a move to regain the public trust lost as the company’s best selling 737 max had been recently grounded due to two fatal crashes earlier this year. The 737 max is not due to begin flying again before sometime next year under very stringent approval processes.
