DUBLIN, IRELAND – A group of protesters have gathered outside Google headquarters in Dublin, Ireland to protest censorship and privacy issues from the big tech behemoth. The speakers that gathered began to talk about the issues of ‘deplatforming, and the potential abuse by a massive corporation to suppress and oppress average citizens who are simply trying to voice their own political opinions and exercise their rights.’
A small group of ‘counter-protesters’ showed up and began to heckle some of the demonstrators by trying to shout over them and by screeching as loud as they could. They brought musical instruments with them as well to try to drown out the sound of the demonstrators who were speaking.
