MISSING: Jean Luc Brunel International Model Scout and Alleged Procurer for Pedophile Epstein

Where in the World?

Accused child rapist Jean Luc Brunel has been in the spotlight, at least by name, since the suicide of his associate, convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein on August 10, 2019.  In 2019 he was pictured in Uruguay with two young assistants sitting at a table sorting through photographs. He has not been (reported) seen in public since.

It is difficult to locate information about his early life, education and career beginnings online. He has a brother, Arnaud, who evidently has been involved to some extent in Brunel’s enterprise (see below). Bits and pieces not scrubbed from the web show his career began in the mid-to-late ’70s and expanded to an intercontinental hunt for unique, exotic beauties from South America, northern Europe, the former Soviet Union states, Asia and Africa.

Arnaud Brunel and Next

Brunel’s brother Arnaud has been reported to have joined Jean Luc in their partnership with the (now) mammoth agency Next Models, founded and turned into a massive conglomerate by Faith Kates beginning in 1984.  Jean Luc Brunel has promoted his part in Next’s development. The nature of the Brunel brothers’ 25% investment and duration of their involvement in Next is in dispute. Official records show that the Brunel’s involvement, at least on paper, lasted longer than Kates will admit through her attorney. (See Daily Beast exclusive, below.) JE is ‘Dead’

In the weeks since Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged suicide, speculation began online from alternative and mainstream media. Conspiracies like “Russia is behind it,” “Israel’s Mossad whisked him away,” or “his death was a murder staged as suicide” have become part of the news. Claims that he was allegedly controlled by the CIA as an asset-turned-liability is another theory, given some credence by the former U.S. Attorney of Florida, Alexander Acosta, who testified about Epstein’s sweetheart plea deal at his confirmation hearings for Labor Secretary, “I was told he belonged to Intelligence… [he was] above my pay grade…”

And Jean Luc is allegedly missing.  The photographer and globe-trotting talent scout is supposedly the subject of an international manhunt.  Since Epstein’s death, the focus is on the wide ring of supposed co-conspirators, beginning with those closest to him.  It is alleged that Jean Luc Brunel enjoyed international access to a never-ending stream of beautiful, underage girls, a benefit apparently exploited to terrific lengths by Jeffrey Epstein. There is a scheme which is revealing itself as more victims come forward.

Brunel, a known associate of Jeffrey Epstein, who it appears benefited from his alleged crimes, procured underage females for him and in fact, later sued his former pal claiming severe emotional distress, financial and physical damages and public scorn as a result of their business association. Brunel’s retailers Macy’s, Saks and Nordstrom pulled away in 2014, which surely cost him a regular income stream.

According to Jezebel.com “Civil complaints allege that young girls from South America, Europe, and the former Soviet republic, few of whom spoke English, were recruited for Epstein’s sexual pleasure. According to a former bookkeeper, a number of the girls worked for MC2, the modeling agency owned by Jean Luc Brunel, a longtime acquaintance and frequent guest of Epstein’s.

Brunel, along with numerous young models, was a frequent passenger on Epstein’s private jet, according to flight manifests. The agency owner also allegedly received $1 million from Epstein in 2005, when he founded MC2 with his partner, Jeffrey Fuller; although Fuller and Brunel denied any such payment from the billionaire pervert in 2007, when rumors started swirling. Whether the money was a secret investment in MC2, or a payment for Brunel’s services as a procurer, is unknown. Brunel also visited Epstein in jail.”

According to the book Filthy Rich: A Powerful Billionaire, the Sex Scandal That Undid Him, and All the Justice That Money Can Buy: The Shocking True Story of Jeffrey Epstein “… Brunel’s close friendship with [Jeffrey] Epstein has never been in doubt. The model scout’s name appears frequently in the flight logs kept for Epstein’s private jets and prison records show he visited Epstein 67 times while he was in jail (Patterson et al., 2017) .” He even lived at Epstein’s West Palm home while he was incarcerated.

Head Start

Michael Gross’ book, Model: The Ugly Business of Beautiful Women (1995) describes Brunel’s activities in Paris from the late 1970s onward, when he worked for and eventually owned the modeling agency, Karin’s. Gross’ first edition from 1995 is a bestseller that shows the underbelly of this flesh-trade. Model is a 24-year top selling expose’ about the industry which, if read by any parent whose child dreams of a career as a model, should disabuse both parent and child of the delusion.

The following was reported in a Daily Beast exclusive, Jeffrey Epstein’s Ties to the Modeling Industry Go Much Deeper than Victoria’s Secret:

On Wednesday, the French newspaper, La Parisienne reported foreign source “that authorities in France are seeking Brunel as part of their probe into Epstein, and that they recently interviewed two women who say they were Brunel’s victims in the late 1970s and early 1980s. According to police, Brunel was in Paris this summer before he took off. He may be in Brazil.”

Pain and Suffering

The septuagenarian French co-owner of MC2 modeling agency filed a lawsuit against his convicted pal Epstein for supposedly costing him millions in profits and sending him into deep depression. In bestselling author James Patterson’s expose’ Filthy Rich (cited above), Brunel testifies about the effects Epstein’s 2008 guilty plea had upon him. He claimed to remain terrified and said he must take multiple medications to cope. Due to improper service of legal process, the case was initially dismissed and, pending appeal, may go forward against Epstein’s estate.  (Epstein v. Brunel, Third District Court of Appeals, State of Florida, No. 3D18-1997; Lower Tribunal No. 14-21348. o4/24/19) Appeal for improper service.

Virginia Roberts

Virginia Roberts’ allegations regarding Brunel’s friendship with Epstein may be found in Federal court filings for the state of Florida. Ms. Roberts, now Giuffre, was brought into the Epstein massage industry as a minor and was controlled by him until he allowed her to go to Thailand. The purpose of the trip was to complete her education and certification in massage therapy. Epstein paid for the trip under the condition that she bring a young Thai girl back to “work” for him. Roberts met and married Robert Giuffre in 2002 and freed herself from Epstein’s grasp. She testified about Jean Luc Brunel’s activities she saw or in which she was a forced participant.

“He would bring young girls (ranging to ages as young as twelve) to the United States for sexual purposes and farm them out to his friends, especially Epstein,” the filing states. “Brunel would offer the girls ‘modeling’ jobs. Many of the girls came from poor countries or impoverished backgrounds, and he lured them in with a promise of making good money.”

Roberts alleged she was forced to have sex with Brunel and was “made to watch him engage in sexual acts with dozens of underage girls. https://cosmos.ucc.ie/cs1064/jabowen/IPSC/php/authors.php?auid=76296

Exhibits from Roberts’ case show numerous telephone messages written on pads by Epstein’s staff, from Brunel to Epstein. Many of them unquestionably reference recent conquests and procurement of young girls for sex.

Global Territory for Predators

Model scouts scour the world for teen-aged girls who show promise for the industry. They work largely unsupervised and are generally paid a headhunting fee for every girl an agency signs. Scouts mostly operate independently, with little oversight. MC2’s company blog refer[red] to Brunel as, ‘a scouting tsunami.’ MC2 is fairly well-known for the strength of its international scouting.” No link to the preceding text from MC2’s original company blog is currently available.

Brunel also worked with and purchased Karin Models in Paris. At Karin’s, he established a group of affiliates and became a global force of his own. The Parisian office broke with Brunel before he created MC2.

Brunel’s career has been tainted by controversy and innuendo. A 1988 CBS “60 Minutes” documentary once accused Brunel of sexually exploiting young girls whom he had lured into the modeling business with promises of stardom and fortune. link

Sex-Trafficking Model Scout

“Perhaps most disturbing in terms of … sex trafficking, was Epstein’s relationship with Jean Luc Brunel, owner of the MC2 Modeling Agency. According to a complaint filed in Florida Federal Court, an alleged victim said that ‘Epstein, Maxwell, Brunel, Alfredo Rodriguez (Epstein’s butler) and alleged sex slave turned procurer, Marcinkova… engaged in a pattern of racketeering…luring minors through MC2, mostly girls under…17 to engage in sexual play for money.'” Forums

Alfredo Rodriguez died in January of 2015. Rodriguez absconded with Epstein’s “black book” containing the names of his contacts in finance, politics, Hollywood and the scientific community. The black book resurfaced when Rodriguez tried to sell it to an undercover officer for fifty-thousand dollars. Ghislaine Maxwell was reportedly recently seen and photographed at an In-N-Out Burger in Los Angeles, reading a book about honorable CIA operatives and their mysterious deaths. Earlier reports may have been mistaken about the title of the book. A search reveals The Book of Honor: Covert Lives and Classified Deaths at the CIA (Gup, T. & Kastenmeier (Ed.), 2007) is a similar and verifiable title.  CIA Book The authenticity of the photograph remains in question.

Nadia “Marcinkova,” now known as Nadia Marcinko, is listed as a Slovakian FAA-certified commercial rated pilot and flight instructor, holding a Single Multi-engine instrument rating…and is CEO of Aviloop, an aviation website. See link

Marcinkova maintains a modeling page on social media under the name “Marcinko” and is an alleged sex-slave turned procurer for Jeffrey Epstein. Recent whereabouts are unknown.

Creative Management is a web page that contains a list of photographers/associates that match the list from the now scrubbed site for MC2. Attempts to open the new site may show “in configuration.”

Brunel Found?

Reports have emerged regarding Brunel’s supposed location on the continent of South America. Geolocation is the process of determining the location of an electronic device, computer, cell phone, satellite, etc.,” link by innumerable means of global surveillance. No other details have emerged since the geolocation was first reported on September 26th by the Telegraph. report

This is a developing story. More to come regarding the Brunel/Epstein connection and affiliation with one of the most prolific modeling agencies in the world.
