August 3, 2020 – According to recent reports, Pope Benedict XVI is seriously ill and potentially in grave condition after a recent illness and skin infection.
— Reuters (@Reuters) August 3, 2020
At 93 years of age, he is still sharp-minded and full of life. Although hardly able to speak, as shingles can be extremely painful, he did say he would consider writing again if he regained his health. There are rumors that he had written something, to be published after his passing, that will explain why he “retired” from the Papacy.
Some believe Benedict was removed because he thought the sexual abuse scandals within the Church should be exposed and excised, specifically the corruption of Cardinal McCarrick in Washington, DC. In June of 2020, the former Pope left Vatican City for the first time since 2013 to travel to Germany to visit his sick brother Georg Ratzinger, who passed away July 1st at 96 years old.

As TruNews reports, the retiring of Pope Benedict XVI is the first time anything like that has happened in 600 years, indicating how unique a situation it is for a living, sitting pope to resign.

There is also speculation about the role of Archbishop Vigano and why he is choosing to speak out about certain things at this time. We do know that Benedict and Vigano were close.

Considering the recent passing of his brother and the contracting of an illness, we must be praying for Pope Benedict.
This question is offensive to Pope Benedict, still wearing white in the Vatican, held prisoner, but defends priestly celibacy in his recent writings. Please open your eyes, & do not abandon the Holy Father in his hour of need. Our Lady of Good Success spoke of a prisoner pope. https://t.co/jCGnDYelfY

There are several theories behind Pope Benedict staying holed up at the Vatican. If he was really “retiring” for health reasons, why not go home and stay somewhere private? If he was involved in or helped to cover up the sexual abuses within the church, he could be staying there for legal protection.
This is one potential explanation for his continual stay in Vatican City, according to an article entitled: “Is Pope Benedict XVI a Prisoner in the Vatican?”
My good friend Bishop Rene Henry Gracida on this troubling question here.
Seven years ago, and several years before Francis stepped onto the world stage, I wrote a post for this Blog in which I said, ‘…masonic forces seek to subvert the Church from within and to create a “new church” created in the image and likeness of man. The new humanitarian religion will result from a quiet revolution within the Church.’
This new religion will be anti-supernatural. And it will embrace the Socialistic New World Order and the Reign of Antichrist. This is the false church Venerable Anne Catherine Emmerich saw in her visions.
Father Emmanuel Barbier, a well-known anti-modernist and anti-masonic author, transcribed a document dated April 3, 1844, in which a high-ranking leader of Italian masonic forces called Nubius explains to another highly-placed mason how the quiet revolution will work. He writes, ‘Now then, in order to ensure a pope in the required proportions, we must first of all prepare a generation worthy of the kingdom of which we dream…’
Cast aside the old men and men of a mature age; go to the youth, and if possible, even to children…It is to the youth that we must go, it is the youth that we must lead, unperceived by them, under the flag of the secret societies. In order to advance with prudent steps on this dangerous but sure way, two things are absolutely necessary. You must have the simplicity of doves and the prudence of the serpent…Never pronounce before them a word of impiety or impurity: Maxima debetur puero reverentia…Once your reputation has been established in colleges, high schools, universities, and seminaries, once you have gained the confidence of professors and students, make sure that especially those who enter the ranks of the clergy be pleased with your meetings…
Such reputation will give your doctrine access to the young clergy and to convents. In a few years, this clergy will naturally have invaded all functions: they will govern, administer, judge, from the Sovereign’s council, be called to choose the Pontiff who must reign; and this Pontiff, like most of his contemporaries, will be more or less imbued with Italian and humanitarian principles that we will start placing in circulation…Let the clergy move forward under your standard always believing they are advancing under the banner of the apostolic Keys. Cast your net like Simon Bar Jonas; spread it to the bottom of sacristies, seminaries, and convents, rather than casting it to the bottom of the sea; if you do not precipitate anything, we promise you a catch even more miraculous than his…
You will have fished a revolution dressed in the Pope’s triple crown and cape, carrying the cross and the flag, a revolution that will need only a small stimulus to set fire to the four corners of the earth.’ (Nubius, Secret Instructions on the Conquest of the Church, excerpted from Les infiltrations maconiques dans l’Eglise, Paris/Brussels: Desclee de Brouwer, 1901, p. 5). – La Salette Journey
Interestingly, from an unknown secure location, Archbishop Vigano has chosen to speak out about these Masonic forces to the President of the United States.
Back in 2013, Philip Pullella of Reuters reported “Pope will have security, immunity by remaining in the Vatican,” there may be a more selfish reason behind his remaining in Rome:
Pope Benedict’s decision to live in the Vatican after he resigns will provide him with security and privacy. It will also offer legal protection from any attempt to prosecute him in connection with sexual abuse cases around the world, Church sources and legal experts say.
‘His continued presence in the Vatican is necessary, otherwise he might be defenseless. He wouldn’t have his immunity, his prerogatives, his security, if he is anywhere else,’ said one Vatican official, speaking on condition of anonymity.
‘It is absolutely necessary’ that he stays in the Vatican, said the source, adding that Benedict should have a ‘dignified existence’ in his remaining years.
Vatican sources said officials had three main considerations in deciding that Benedict should live in a convent in the Vatican after he resigns on February 28.
Vatican police, who already know the pope and his habits, will be able to guarantee his privacy and security and not have to entrust it to a foreign police force, which would be necessary if he moved to another country.
‘I see a big problem if he would go anywhere else. I’m thinking in terms of his personal security, his safety. We don’t have a secret service that can devote huge resources (like they do) to ex-presidents,’ the official said.
Another consideration was that if the pope did move permanently to another country, living in seclusion in a monastery in his native Germany, for example, the location might become a place of pilgrimage.
This could be complicated for the Church, particularly in the unlikely event that the next pope makes decisions that may displease conservatives, who could then go to Benedict’s place of residence to pay tribute to him.
‘That would be very problematic,’ another Vatican official said.
The final key consideration is the pope’s potential exposure to legal claims over the Catholic Church’s sexual abuse scandals.
In 2010, for example, Benedict was named as a defendant in a law suit alleging that he failed to take action as a cardinal in 1995 when he was allegedly told about a priest who had abused boys at a U.S. school for the deaf decades earlier. The lawyers withdrew the case last year and the Vatican said it was a major victory that proved the pope could not be held liable for the actions of abusive priests.
Benedict is currently not named specifically in any other case. The Vatican does not expect any more but is not ruling out the possibility.
Another official said: ‘While this was not the main consideration, it certainly is a corollary, a natural result.’
After he resigns, Benedict will no longer be the sovereign monarch of the State of Vatican City, which is surrounded by Rome, but will retain Vatican citizenship and residency. – Reuters News
This article certainly paints a much different picture about Pope Benedict XVI and his potential covering up or ignoring of sexual abuse allegations. There is also the potential that there is some kind of blackmail going on.
On April 11, 2019 Jason Horowtiz of the New York Times reported in “With Letter on Sexual Abuse, Pope Benedict Returns to Public Eye,” that some doubt may be shed about the previous accounts:
ROME — In his retirement, Pope Benedict XVI is apparently tired of hiding.
The former pontiff, who declared he would ‘remain hidden to the world’ when he became the first pope in six centuries to abdicate in 2013, has released a 6,000-word letter that puts the blame for the clerical sexual abuse crisis in the Roman Catholic Church on the sexual revolution of the 1960s, the disappearance of God from public discourse in the West and what he considers dangerously liberal theological ideas that eroded morality after the church reforms of the Second Vatican Council.
Among his claims, Benedict wrote that the sexual revolution deemed pedophilia as ‘allowed and appropriate,’ and that the landmark social protests of 1968 for ‘all-out sexual freedom’ as well as sex education for young children and nudity in advertising prompted a ‘mental collapse’ that he linked to ‘a propensity for violence.’
‘That is why sex films were no longer allowed on airplanes,’ he wrote to illustrate his point, ‘because violence would break out among the small community of passengers.’
The letter, written for the German church magazine Klerusblatt, was published overnight by conservative Catholic websites that have consistently exalted Benedict and criticized his successor, Pope Francis.
The deeply theological and esoteric missive, which Benedict called his contribution ‘in this difficult hour’ for the church, was written ‘absolutely on his own’ by Benedict, according to Archbishop Georg Gänswein, Benedict’s longtime personal secretary, who is also the prefect of the papal household under Pope Francis.
In writing the letter, Benedict realized the fears of many church experts who have argued that having two pontiffs living at the same time was a recipe for pastoral, theological and political disaster and could lead to confusion among the faithful.
Although Benedict wrote that he gave his successor and the Vatican’s Secretariat of State a heads up about the letter, it amounted to the most significant undercutting yet of the authority of Pope Francis, who has instead blamed a systemic abuse of power and an unhealthy adoration of authority within the church’s hierarchy for the crisis.
Francis, who two months ago held a landmark summit meeting on the crisis with church leaders from around the world, has struggled to find his voice on sex abuse, though he promised ‘concrete and effective measures’ to resolve it. Those are yet to come. – The New York Times
I think that the choice of 6000 words was deliberate, as the Masons have been referred to as a six-thousand-year old death cult. He appears to be echoing the same sentiment as Archbishop Vigano’s recent writings.
A long timeline put together by From Rome details “The Imprisonment of Pope Benedict XVI” that makes the following claims:
I will summarize in this article the suppositions and analysis which the volunteers and members of Veri Catholici have worked out in recent days about what really went on in the Vatican in 2012 — 2013. I will do so in a Timeline, which makes understanding what was going on easier. This will be a recitation of facts, with an interpretation which explains them all elegantly.
In March 2012 Pope Benedict XVI established a Commission of Cardinals to investigate leaks of reserved and confidential documents on television, in newspapers, and in other communications media (in what is known as the Vatileaks scandal). It first met on Tuesday, 24 April 2012. Cardinal Herranz served as the Chair, and was accompanied by Cardinals Jozef Tomko and Salvatore De Giorgi. (Wikipedia: Vatican Leaks Scandal)
Someone leaks the results of the Vatican Commission on Gays in the Vatican to Team Bergoglio, which in response begins feverish activity at Rome (Documented by Dr. Sire in the Book, The Dictator Pope). This activity aims for the forced abdication of Benedict.
Early November: The Coup d’etat is hatched. Team Bergoglio demands the resignation of Pope Benedict to prevent the revelations of the Dossier to be presented by Vatican Commission on Gays in the Vatican. The contents of the dossier will implicate all the key members of Team Bergoglio and thus all force and expediency must be employed to stop its publication.
The conspiracy includes not only Team Bergoglio, but all named in the Dossier, the names of whom are given to Team Bergoglio by someone working in the Commission.
The terms of the Coup d’etat are as follows:
- Pope Benedict will resign
- Pope Benedict will not publish the contents of the Dossier
- Pope Benedict will continuously testify that he resigned willingly
If Pope Benedict refuses, Team Bergoglio threatens the Pope with assassination, citing the published testimony of an Italian Journalist on Feb. 11, 2012 saying that the assassination will be within 1 year. The date Feb 11, 2013 is chosen for the resignation to signal to the Lavender Mafia round the world, that the abdication has been forced precisely to defend their evil institution.
Pope Benedict, taking counsel from no one, because he trusted no one, decides to go along but to leave tell tale signs for the Catholic world, so that any intelligent observer will discern what is going on. He extracts the condition of the promotion of his personal secretary to the position of the Pontifical Household, believing this will keep him safe and to signify that after his resignation, He is still the only one true Pope.
Nov. 23: James Michael Cardinal Harvey, who had been the Prefect of the Papal Household under Benedict is named Cardinal Priest of Saint Paul outside the Walls, in an apparent reward for his role in allowing Benedict to be betrayed in the Vatican Leaks scandal and to make way for Ganswein.
Dec. 7: Father Georg Gänswein, the private secretary of Pope Benedict from the time he was a Cardinal, is named Prefect of the Papal Household.
December 17: The Pope received a report on ‘Vatican lobbies’ prepared by Cardinals Julián Herranz, Salvatore De Giorgi, a former archbishop of Palermo, and Jozef Tomko. The same day, the Pope decided to resign. (Wikipedia: Vatican Leaks). This decision is forced and is Benedict’s sign to Team Bergoglio that he has accepted the terms given in the Coup d’etat. – From Rome
It goes into great detail describing what they deem essentially a satanic and Masonic coup against the Vatican, from corrupt elements within. It was a quiet takeover.
Interestingly, there is reason to believe something significant is going on at the Vatican. Besides the recent news from Archbishop Vigano and Pope Benedict, recent news reports indicate potential movement in an Italian government criminal probe. Look at three recent articles:
From Catholic World Report “Police Sieze Minicione’s Phones in Vatican Corruption Probe” that states the following:
Vatican prosecutors, working with Italian authorities, have executed a search and seizure warrant against the Italian businessman Raffaele Mincione, the man responsible for the controversial investment of hundreds of millions of euros on behalf of the Holy See Secretariat of State.
In a seizure carried out on Mincione Wednesday morning at an hotel in Rome, investigators seized electronic devices, including cellular phones and iPads, according to Corriere della Serra.
The search and seizure was authorized by Roman magistrate Maria Teresa Gerace, following a request by the Vatican Promoter of Justice Gian Piero Milano and his deputy Alessandro Diddi. The search was carried out by Italian state police. Corriere reported that Mincione, accompanied by his lawyers, presented himself to police by prior arrangement, after the warrant was issued.
Through a spokesperson, Mincione declined CNA’s request for comment Wednesday.
The seizure of Mincione’s electronics is the latest development in the ongoing investigation into the Secretariat of State’s relationship with the financier, with whom they invested more than $250 million through his Athena Global Opportunities Fund, most notably in a building development at 60 Sloane Ave. in London. The funds included lines of credit extended by two Swiss banks, Credit Suisse and BSI, against other funds under the control of the secretariat.
CNA has previously reported that, in addition to an initial 45% stake in the London building, owned by Mincione, the funds were also invested in other companies and projects owned or connected to Mincione. On June 6, Vatican News described Mincione’s management of Vatican investments as ‘speculative’ and a ‘conflict of interest.’ – Catholic World Report
This is not the first report of suspicious loans coming from Vatican Bank. Then on July 16, 2020 it was reported by KRCU in an article entitled “New Vatican Guidance Urges Clergy to Report Cases of Sexual Abuse,” that things are starting to change:
The Vatican on Wednesday published a handbook for clergy and church lawyers that lays out the steps to follow when investigating and reporting alleged cases of sexual abuse of minors and others by priests, deacons and prelates.
A Vatican official described the ‘vademecum,’ as the document is titled in Latin, as simply a ‘tool’ for correctly conducting probes into such allegations.
‘No new law is being promulgated, nor are new norms being issued,’ Cardinal Louis Ladaria, prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, writes in the in-house outlet Vatican News. It is, instead, an ‘instruction manual’ that intends to help whoever has to deal with concrete cases from the beginning to the end.
But the handbook does go further than the instructions Pope Francis issued in a May 2019 apostolic letter titled ‘You Are the Light of the World.’ In that missive, the pontiff instructed church authorities to report suspected cases of sexual abuse to civil authorities when required to do so by local laws.
The new document does not condition such reporting on whether it is legally required. – KRCU
Anyone familiar with the occult will know that “light” being referred to is the false light, the light of “Lucifer.” Unless the new guidelines make it legally required to be reported to authorities, it is nothing more than public relations.
Finally, just a few days ago Cate Cadell with Reuters reported “U.S. Cyber Security Firm Says Beijing Hackers Targeted Vatican Ahead of Talks,” claiming:
Hackers linked to the Chinese government have infiltrated Vatican computer networks, including the Roman Catholic Church’s Hong Kong-based representative, a U.S. firm that tracks state-backed cyber attacks said on Wednesday.
It said the attacks began in May. The Vatican and Beijing were expected to engage in talks this year over the renewal of a landmark 2018 deal that stabilised relations between China and the Church.
U.S. cybersecurity firm Recorded Future said in the report that the attacks targeted the Vatican and the Catholic diocese of Hong Kong, including the head of the Hong Kong Study Mission, who is seen as Pope Francis’ de facto representative to China.
The report said the targets included communications between the Hong Kong diocese and the Vatican and used similar tools and methods previously identified with Chinese state-backed hacking groups.
China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin, speaking at a daily news conference in Beijing on Wednesday, said that China is a ‘staunch defender’ of cybersecurity.
Ample evidence rather than conjecture is needed when investigating cyber events, said Wang. – Reuters
This again underscores the potential not only for corruption at the Vatican, but also for the potential for blackmail and spying. Clearly the Vatican is facing numerous scandals and internal strife. The Church has continued to decline in popularity, despite its seeming adoption of worldly concerns and politics.
We do not know what really happened back in 2013 or with Pope Benedict XVI. We do not yet understand his motivations for stepping down, and then coming back out into the public. We do not know if he was involved in covering up sexual abuse scandals in the Church, or whether he was the one trying to blow the whistle on it. What we know right now is that is he is in bad health and he needs our prayers.
